Welcome to my fashion blog. Fashion is something that I have always been into and I have wanted to share.

I have many expectations for myself with this blog, shopping hauls and day to day outfits are my two current objectives.

Yeah…we will see how well I do with that.

Hello.

Today’s outfit.

I started off the day wearing black jeans to work and changed midday into some black yoga pants, because comfort was my first priority today.

I’ve been collecting pastel/neutral colored nail polishes for a long time now.

I’m such a neutral earth tone kind of person and I got these 3 wet and wild polishes this past weekend that I am in love with. I am also in love with their price, $1.99, and quality.

Pictured polishes:

Wet and Wild Megalast: Wet Cement, Undercover, 2% Milk

Sally Hanson Hard as Nails: Mint Sorbet

American Apparel: Butter, Echo Park

Essie: Angora Cardi, Looking for Love

I currently have very little clothing options because all of my clothes are packed away for when I go to California on Friday.

Oh, I didn’t tell you I was going  to California?

Heck yes I am!

Jeans: American Eagle

Sweater: Target

Scarf: Forever 21

Necklace: Forever 21

Watch: Timex

Got this bracelet at Disneyland in California a few days ago.
Totally in love. It’s great because it doesn’t scream disneyland but I will always know where I got it from.

I found some gorgeous ribbons when I was picking up yarn at the craft store today and I thought that I could make some really cute headbands with them!

This is what you need:

Desired Headband Ribbon, Black Ribbon, Black 1/2 inch Elastic

Fabric Glue, Sewing Machine

Step 1:

Cut a piece of elastic so the ribbon will be tight around your head when the elastic is attached and sew it to the middle of the end of the ribbon. I did a double stitch and went over it 5-7 times because this will ensure that the elastic will not rip off.

Repeat on the other side.

Step 2:

If the ribbon you choose is wider than your elastic, like mine, then you will want to taper the ends in. Because this part does not determine the strength of the headband I just did one forward and one backward stitch.

Step 3:

This step is optional, but it adds a nice finished look.

Glue the black ribbon around the ends of the headband where the ribbon and elastic meet to cover the stitches and prevent the ends of the ribbon from fraying. Fasten with fabric glue.

Discovered today while unpacking that I can make an entire bodysuit of light pink/salmon.

I got this gorgeous red stone necklace this weekend from For Love 21.

I don’t have a ton of color in my wardrobe so the splash of red is really going to add some fun to my outfits.

If you can’t tell, I’ve been collecting.
